Welcome to the heart of the Weinviertel and to the committed Kornherr winery from Untermarkersdorf! Our family business produces excellent wines in Austria through the natural cultivation of all soils and thinning out the harvest, which convince with fruity aromas and a balanced character.

Our winery attaches great importance to healthy soil, which can optimally supply all of our vines with water and nutrients, as well as healthy plants - because the character and quality of a wine are significantly influenced by both elements. So we not only pay attention to a species-rich greenery and balanced vineyard flora, but also do without the use of insecticides, protect natural beneficial insects and select the right autochthonous or region-typical grape variety for each location. Because only when all the details fit together can excellent wines be created that optimally reflect Austria and the individual terroir.
